International Attendees A letter of invitation from the CEA can only be sent once an abstract has been accepted by the evaluation committee. This adheres to the rules outlined by Immigration Canada. The timeline for acceptances being sent to submitters is between late February and late March of the conference year. The CEA is delighted to welcome international attendees to the conference each year. We understand that obtaining a "Letter of Invitation" for visa purposes is a time-sensitive matter. While we will make every effort to issue these letters promptly, we must adhere to Immigration Canada’s guidelines, which can be found on the websites below. Paper evaluations typically begin in mid-February, with notification of acceptance or rejection generally taking place by the end of March or early April. Once a paper has been reviewed and accepted for presentation, the submitting author will receive an electronic acceptance letter via email. After receiving this email, the author should request a letter of invitation by emailing cea.conference@gmail.com. Please note that only one invitation letter will be issued per paper, and it will be addressed to the lead (submitting) author. If a co-author plans to present instead of the lead author, the paper must be revised to reflect the co-author as the new lead presenter. This change can only be made by the CEA organizers. If this revision is necessary, please contact the CEA office at cea.conference@gmail.com. Additionally, each registered participant may present only one paper. Invitation letters are typically issued between mid-February and March 31st. To ensure the letter is processed smoothly, please confirm that your email address, mailing address, and full name are accurate and up-to-date in your CEA account. We cannot issue an invitation letter if any of this information is missing or incorrect. If you have any concerns about your profile, please reach out to the CEA office at cea.conference@gmail.com.
